I'll be breif as I don't want to bore you all as even though I'm Tech savy, this is not a tech blog.
I love my phone. The new Motorola Droid from Verizon. I knew I loved you before I met you kind of love. I did a lot of research and wanted to know that this would be the right phone for me. I didn't want to renew my contract knowing that I've wanted an Iphone but didn't really want to leave Verizon's service.
I must admit after having my phone for a week now, I absolutely love it.
The feel, the touch, the vibrant screen is remarkable. Motorola really did it with the screen alove. The size of the phone although a little bulky and heavy is fine for me. I'm a big guy and these little dinky phone just don't cut it for me.
I love the fact that the Android OS is open source and from what I can tell it doesn't look like they discourage developers from contributing like Apple does by not approving certain apps. Now don't get me wrong Android has a lot to learn from Apple and i believe they have. The Market alone has made a big push since the Droid came out. They only have over 10K apps but lets be honest who can really look and scope out all 100K+ apps from Apple.
The one downside I have is there's much more to come, more phones, more apps, updates to the OS. We'll now that I think about it that's not really a downside. Having more choice gives Android the push over Apple IMO.
People like choice.
