Review on my Psychic Reading

Comments
Ok, so Amy and I went to a friend of hers for a Psychic Party.  Not really knowing what to expect as I had only had a reading once before and I think it was either right before high school or just after.

There was like 11 of us, mostly females.  Just two guys out of the whole group.  The night was filled with a lot of laughs and a lot of interesting stories.  For the first bunch that went and came out after their reading all seemed to go pretty well.

I believe I had gone 6th.  At this point some of the people that had their reading had said the psychic was right on for some of the stuff.

I did record my reading but after going back and listening to it, I have decided not to post it to my site. Like I had originally thought I would do.

I will however go into a few things that she was right on.  She had spoke about my grandmother and knew of the close relationship that we had and gave a few specifics that made it much more believable.

She also was right on about me losing weight and that I have made good progress so far. She also knew what my goal weight was and gave me a time frame of when I would reach my goal which was pretty cool.

She also talked about family and my job and touched on a few things about my Dad.  All in all it was a fun experience that I can say was strictly entertainment purposes and to have a good time with some friends and new faces.

As the night went on she seemed to at times from people coming out and saying how their readings went, that she might have repeated herself.  I'm sure the lady was pretty tired. We started at 7PM and there was 11 of us all getting about 1/2 hour of her time.

All I can say is that it was a neat experience and that's about it.  If some of the stuff she said happens then hey I can be an even more believer, but at this point she was just my entertainment for the night.

The Scale Doesn't Lie (Week 9 Weigh-In)

Comments
So I've gone 9 weeks.  9 Straight weeks of losing weight.  I have not gained any weight since starting WW the beginning of Jan.

I'm really proud of myself for sticking with this as best as I can and looking at the future and where I want to be.  Unlike like the times before where I have tried to lose the weight, something about this times feels so different.

I have yet to doubt myself like I have in the past with may diets that I have been on.

I've come to terms that this is how I will live the rest of my new life.  (portion control & working out)

I'm learning to love myself enough now that I want to take care of me.  I enjoy the feeling knowing that man I've just got done working out and it felt great.

I have visions all the time of this time next year.  The hard work and the new me.  I get excited about it.  It keeps me going big time.

I think the difference this time around is that all the times I've dieted before I felt like I had to do it, this time around I want to do it.

OK now to the weigh in
 Last week 485.3
This week 483.5 -1.8lbs Total weight loss 39.5lns

The Scale Doesn't Lie (Week 8 Weigh-In)

Comments

Wow, I'm all smiles today. After having two weeks in a row where I didn't even lose a pound and got so frustrated I bounced back this week. What did I do you ask?

Went back to the basics

YEP..... Weight watchers proved something very big to me this week. (more on this in a min)

This week I didn't work out at all, was way to busy with work and sick at the same time. I hate excuses but it was what it was. It's life and I had to deal with it. I told myself that if I just follow the program it's supposed to work right?

Not working out is not an option I have to continue moving but I will say this.

FOLLOWING THE WEIGHT WATCHERS SYSTEM........WORKS.

I ate everything right this week. Healthy and points wise. I went back to the basics of eating when I had some of my best weeks in the beginning.

I have goals that I want to accomplish more than anything and the goal I set out this time was that I wanted to lose half of my body weight at the time I started. I knew it was a hard goal but something that was very much obtainable if I work hard at it. The long road gets a little shorter if you continue on the same road. Sure there's some curves and bumps, but instead of gold at the end I get health, and I would trade that anytime for all the gold in the world.

ok so now onto the weigh in

Start 523lbs
Last week 490.7
This week 485.3 (lost 5.4lbs) 37.7 total in 2 months on weight watchers

Could the internet radio prankers be making a comeback?

Comments
We'll it's a strong possibility. My Cuz Dj Dave and I are working out some detail and will soon meet up to finalize everything up. An exact return date is not yet set.

When going back and listening to some of our shows, I'm amazed at just some goofy crazy mofo's with a mix and internet could make up some of the stuff we did.

It's a shame that we quit when we did, right before the big break of Facebook and Twitter. We missed out on the true tools of social media to boots are fans.

We're both ready to come back and try to take it a step further. We both know that we have a lot of hard work to get back to where we were. below is a link to some of the stuff we did. Mainly the Pranks, which was our most popular segment of our show.

Take a listen and get familiar with some of the stuff that will be coming back. More details coming soon.........

Here was a promo that we did for our show, showing some of the dares we did
