I love This Bar & Grill

Toby Keith is a great man but a shitty actor....(beer for my horses)

Anyway, he's opening up a bar & grill at Great Lakes Crossing which will employee 200 people. I think this is awesome. One person that I heard that is totally upset with this is Monica Conyers because it's not in Detroit.

Here's an article I read in the freep

Country music singer-songwriter Toby Keith will open a 650-seat restaurant and entertainment center called I Love This Bar & Grill at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills late this year, mall marketing director Melissa Morang announced today.

Named for his hit song ?I Love This Bar,? the restaurant will be his sixth nationally and the first in Michigan. Others are in Oklahoma City, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Mesa, Ariz., and at a Cherokee casino in Catoosa, Okla.

The casual menu includes many of the home-style Southern dishes the ex-oil field worker from Oklahoma calls his favorites: pulled-pork sandwiches, chicken-fried steak, Honky Tonk meatloaf, Freedom Fries and fried-bologna sandwiches ? a signature dish, along with Southern-fried Twinkies.

Another important menu feature is the American Soldier Burger, a nod to Keith?s well-known patriotism and USO trips to entertain troops in the Middle East. The burger is served free of charge to any military personnel with valid military ID.

Morang said the new spot will feature live country music and dancing and ?the occasional surprise performance by Keith himself.? Other features include an 85-seat guitar-shaped bar, retail shop, mechanical bull and a patio with outside seating.

The restaurant, which will employ 200 people, will be visible from I-75 and occupy about 22,000 square feet near the Bass Pro Shops. Construction is set to begin soon.

So wait, Monica Conyers is upset it won't be in Detroit? I suppose the fact that Toby Keith grew up in Detroit, she has reason to be upset. Wait, he's from Oklahoma? Oh, maybe he should have put it near the Country Hall of Fame in Detroit. Oh wait, that's in Nashville. Even the Auto Hall of Fame is in Dearborn. So the man decides to open a restaraunt/bar in one of the larger and more popular malls in the area with direct and easy access for all in the metro Detroit area.

Now I know why people hate Detroit politicians.

And see, I would say the reverse, that he's a great actor and a shitty man. Maybe hold the great, I don't know.

and then I would say don't post anonymous, tell people who you are. I can't stand people who post or blog anonymously. To me it means that you want to bash or say something about something but don't want to be accountable for it. You can dish it out but you just cant take it. Bit with all that being said thanks for visiting my site and leaving a comment ghost writer.

This is totally awesome for the Detroit MSA!!!! He is bringing 200 jobs to this area and expanding his restaurant in Michigan when he has the whole US to pick from. He did not go to FL, he did not go to TX, he did not go to CA, he did not even go to NY.......Michigan! How can you say anything negative about that. Great Lakes Crossing is a great shopping center and now it is even better.
